Found by Grilgar in his exploration of Fort Mitcham, he found the experimental weapon, ready for use in a lab beneath the main structure. He ran out shortly after, due to encountering enemy resistance, which is now recognized as being Sires. After some examination, he discovered the weapon would fire slightly modified Long Shot rounds (either by design or coincidence).

The weapon is roughly 1.2 metres long, including the short stock, made that way because of the absence of recoil, because the magnetic acceleration firing mechanism generates none. The power source of the gun was its main problem, and a battery of useful charge was too big for anything short of backpack mounted, and this was avoided due to the fact that if punctured, it would spew out deadly acid. So they resorted to charge a two large disk shape capacitors, either of the gun, however firing was impossible until the charge was sufficient, this could take anywhere from four seconds to six seconds, depending on gun condition. The capacitors roughly resemble a Scorcher's fuel mag, except think of two of them, either side of the gun, closer to the stock.

The actual power of the gun is incredible, however lacking the explosive shock of a Torque Bow, the magnetically accelerated shot is enough to threaten a Berserker in the right hands. The gun has enough raw penetration to go right through a Mauler's Boomshield at full charge as well...used wisely the weapon has great potential.
