Sergeant Joseph Davis (COG tags CSID 26W4YA-YSRFJ-AU) was a Gear who served in the Confederation of Ordered Governments as part of the Clayvale Armed Forces during the conflicts with the Outsiders, Swarm, and Coalition of Ordered Governments. A son of famed hero of the Locust War and later head of the Armed Forces, Joseph and his siblings grew up in a household dominated by a military culture. He became fascinated with the history of the military, looking through records and historical documents, learning all he could of the militaries of the past, a hobby encouraged by his father, who had a degree in history. In 34 A.E., when he was sixteen, he followed in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the Clayvale Armed Forces. By 41 A.E., he had reached the rank of Sergeant and led Lima-Thirty-Nine.
